USE OF COOKIES AND SESSION IDs

Car City web sites use "cookies" and/or session IDs to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. A session ID is the same as a cookie except the text file is saved on our servers, not your computer. Neither Cookies nor session IDs can be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies and session IDs are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie and session ID to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies and session IDs is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. They tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, by not requiring you to re-enter your search after viewing each listing, it simplifies the process so you can easily use the Car City features.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you search for a specific year, make, and model and narrow the results to a specific zip code. The use of cookies and session IDs allows https://www.carcityauto.com to remember and return to that search as you review the vehicles in the search results. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Car City services or Web sites you visit.

Privacy is important, especially in today's digital world. This policy only applies to Car City, not to any companies that Car City does not own, or to any persons not employed by Car City.
